Clear rules. Respectful products.

The agreement behind
working together.

These policies explain how DATAGRIS handles your information, software access, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds in plain language.

Effective 6 September 2026Applies to DATAGRIS websites and products

User, privacy & license terms

Your data and your access stay connected to a clear purpose.

This policy applies when you visit a DATAGRIS website, create an account, request a project or support, subscribe to a DATAGRIS product, or act for an organization that uses our services.

01

Who we are and acceptance

DATAGRIS develops and operates software products and provides technology, automation, design, cybersecurity, GIS, cloud, and digital strategy services. By using a DATAGRIS service, you agree to this policy and the product-specific order, plan, or contract shown to you. If you act for a company, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

02

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate, current information and keep login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and must promptly tell us about unauthorized access. A person who cannot legally enter a contract must use the service only through an authorized guardian or organization.

03

Information we collect

Depending on the product, we may collect your name, business name, email, phone number, country or nationality, account credentials, subscription and invoice details, support messages, project requirements, technical logs, device and browser information, IP address, security events, feature usage, and the content you choose to place in the product.

Where a product handles patient, student, employee, member, or customer data, the subscribing organization controls that content and must have the lawful authority to provide and process it.

04

Why we use information

  • Create and secure accounts, licenses, and subscriptions.
  • Deliver, personalize, maintain, and improve the product.
  • Process orders, invoices, renewals, cancellations, and support.
  • Communicate operational, security, and service notices.
  • Detect misuse, fraud, attacks, and technical failures.
  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

We use data only for stated, compatible purposes and obtain consent where required.

05

Payments

Payments may be processed by an authorized third-party payment provider. DATAGRIS does not intentionally store your complete card number or card security code. The payment provider may process payment and identity information under its own terms and privacy notice. We retain transaction references, status, amount, currency, and invoice information needed to manage your subscription and records.

06

Sharing and service providers

We may share the minimum necessary data with hosting, infrastructure, communications, analytics, support, security, accounting, and payment providers working for us; with your organization’s authorized administrators; or with authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information. Providers must use information only for the contracted purpose and apply appropriate safeguards.

07

Storage, retention, and transfers

Information is kept only as long as needed for the service, the stated purpose, disputes, security, backups, and legal or accounting duties. Retention periods vary by product and record type. Where data is stored or processed outside Egypt, DATAGRIS will apply the approvals, contractual safeguards, and protections required by applicable law.

08

Security

We use proportionate technical and organizational controls such as access restrictions, authentication, monitoring, backups, encryption where appropriate, and incident procedures. No online system is completely risk-free. Customers must protect their users, devices, credentials, permissions, and local copies of data.

09

Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to know whether we process your data, access or receive a copy, correct inaccurate data, withdraw consent, object to or restrict certain processing, or request deletion. Some information may be retained where law or a valid business obligation requires it. To exercise a right, contact us using the details below; we may verify your identity first.

10

Software license and subscription

A paid or free plan gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the selected DATAGRIS product during the active term for your internal business purposes and within its user, branch, storage, or feature limits. DATAGRIS and its licensors retain ownership of the software, designs, trademarks, source code, documentation, and improvements. You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit.

11

Acceptable use

You must not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass limits, probe or disrupt security, introduce malicious code, impersonate others, infringe rights, upload unlawful content, or use a product in a way that harms DATAGRIS, other customers, or the public. You must not use output as the sole basis for high-risk medical, legal, financial, safety, or employment decisions without qualified human review.

12

Availability, support, and changes

We work to keep products reliable but maintenance, emergencies, providers, networks, and force-majeure events can affect availability. Features may evolve to improve security, performance, or usability. Material subscription changes will be communicated when required. Product-specific support levels and service commitments apply only when stated in the selected plan or a signed agreement.

13

Suspension and termination

We may limit or suspend access for non-payment, security risk, unlawful use, serious misuse, or breach of these terms, with notice where practical. You may cancel as explained in the Refund Policy and the relevant product checkout. On termination, access ends and account content may be deleted after the applicable retention or export period.

14

Updates and governing rights

We may update this policy when products, laws, or business practices change. The current version and effective date will remain published here. Mandatory rights under applicable Egyptian consumer and data-protection law are not limited by this policy.

Cancellation & refund terms

A fair route when a subscription is not right.

This policy applies to subscriptions and licenses bought directly from DATAGRIS. A signed custom-project agreement or a third-party marketplace may contain different, controlling terms.

01

Before you purchase

The product page or checkout shows the current price, currency, billing period, plan limits, tax treatment where applicable, and renewal terms. Review them before payment. The checkout and your invoice are the final record of the product and plan purchased.

02

Cancellation

You may request cancellation at any time before the next renewal date. Unless a refund is approved or the service must be stopped for security or legal reasons, access continues until the end of the paid billing period. Cancellation prevents the next automatic renewal; it does not by itself reverse an earlier valid charge.

03

When a refund may be available

  • A full refund before the paid license or service is activated.
  • A request within 14 days of purchase where the digital license has not been activated, materially used, downloaded, configured, or consumed.
  • A verified material defect or failure to provide the purchased digital service, reported within 30 days and not resolved within a reasonable opportunity.
  • A duplicate charge, an unauthorized payment after verification, or a charge taken after a timely confirmed cancellation.
  • A prolonged DATAGRIS-caused service failure where the selected plan or signed agreement provides a refund or credit.
04

Items normally not refundable

  • Change-of-mind requests after software activation or meaningful use.
  • Elapsed subscription time, consumed usage, credits, messages, storage, or add-ons.
  • Custom development, configuration, onboarding, design, consulting, or integration work already delivered or started with approval.
  • Third-party domains, hosting, licenses, provider charges, bank costs, or non-recoverable payment fees.
  • Accounts suspended for fraud, unlawful activity, security abuse, or a serious policy breach.

This list does not remove any mandatory remedy available under applicable law.

05

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with the account or company name, transaction or invoice number, product and plan, payment date, reason, and supporting evidence. You can also call +20 103 688 4366. Do not email full card details or a security code.

06

Review and decision

We may verify the payment, account activity, activation, delivered work, technical issue, and the requester’s authority. We will communicate the decision and, where possible, offer a correction, replacement, service credit, or refund according to the circumstances and applicable law.

07

Refund timing and method

Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method within 7 business days of approval unless law requires a shorter period. Banks and payment providers may then require approximately 5–14 additional business days to display the amount. Currency conversion or bank differences are controlled by the relevant provider.

08

Chargebacks and unresolved concerns

Please contact us first so we can investigate quickly. Filing a chargeback does not prevent us from supplying truthful transaction and usage records to the payment provider. Nothing here prevents you from contacting the appropriate consumer-protection or regulatory authority.

09

Policy updates

The refund policy in force on your purchase date applies to that transaction unless a later version gives you greater rights or the law requires otherwise. We will keep the current effective date visible on this page.
